Micro-precipitated DTF White Ink

Micro-precipitated DTF White Ink is developed and produced by KingJet specifically for EPSON DTF printheads and high-quality garment printing. The white ink has excellent fluidity and is not prone to clogging, offering the greatest potential to enhance the quality of your T-shirt printing.

Technology Principle of Micro-Precipitated White Ink

1. The micro-precipitated white ink effectively wraps the nano-titanium dioxide particles with a super dispersant to achieve stable dispersion. The charge at the end of the dispersant makes the titanium dioxide nanoparticles repel each other to avoid particle aggregation and precipitation.

2. The micro-precipitated white ink is developed and produced with proprietary technology. Compared with conventional white ink, its system is different and the compatibility between the two inks is poor. When replacing, the ink circuit system needs to be cleaned to avoid excessive ink mixing.

Usage Method of Micro-precipitated DTF White Ink

The new machine can be directly filled with this ink for use. If the machine used regular white ink before, the printer ink circuit system needs to be cleaned.

The cleaning process is as follows:

1. Empty the remaining white ink in the ink cartridge and start the cycle. To prevent the ink in the ink tube from circulating back into the ink cartridge, the ink cartridge needs to be inverted and allowed to wait for the circulation to complete. Turn off the circulation, then discard the ink that circulates back and add pure water to clean the ink cartridge thoroughly. The filter is not easy to clean thoroughly, so it is recommended to replace it with a new one.

2. Add 300ml to 500ml of pure water to the thoroughly cleaned ink cartridge. Use a syringe to draw the pure water out of the ink damper until the water becomes transparent. Insert it back into the printhead and then perform 2 to 3 filling/ink injection operations on the printing operation software for 20 to 30 seconds. This operation can directly clean the residual ink inside the printhead and the ink capping.

3. After completing the above steps, empty the remaining pure water in the ink cartridge, pull out the ink damper, and use a syringe to draw the remaining pure water from the ink circuit and the ink damper.

4. Then, shake the ink well. Open the ink cartridge and add the micro-precipitated ink. Use a syringe to draw ink to fill the ink damper. When drawing, the opening of the ink damper should face upwards to expel air.

5. Run the printer cleaning program and then print the nozzle inspection until the nozzle inspection status is normal.
